Samos PRO

samos® PRO is a compact modular safety controller for machine and automation control with multi-functional base modules that are modularly interlinked, extending its safety functions module by module.

The compact design of samos® PRO means it offers the highest possible degree of flexibility, consisting of function modules of only 22.5mm wide and programmable safety solutions from a width of 45mm. These modules can easily be plugged together and are available as input/output, input or relay output units and gateways in conjunction with the controller.

 

SMA Safety Sensors

The SMA Series of sensors are an efficient way of protecting operators of mechanical equipment and systems. Used for contactless monitoring of protective doors and safe positions, the sensors are equipped with integrated manipulation protection and can withstand a high degree of vibration, whilst offering greater tolerances in door guidance than similar products on the market.

The SMA Series is available in a choice of round, square or rectangular packages with M8 screw or cable connection for quick and easy termination, whilst washers to isolate the sensors from the device it is mounted on are another option. Suitable for high switching interval applications, the SMA series has a rating of IP67 and is ideal for use in areas where strict hygiene is required

 

4000 Series Relays

Wieland's 4000 Series of Universal Safety Relays are equipped with a safe, integrated logic to monitor the safety functions and connections for a startup/re-startup block and the monitoring of external actuators. Designed for use in all routine industrial applications where man and machinery interface, it combines superior technical performance with a compact design.

The Basic Device with Time Function offers time function off-delay with or without retriggering, 1 or 2 channel activation, automatic start and monitored or unmonitored manual start. The Contact Expansion Relay has been designed for use with safe basic relays, with or without timer function.The wide range of products in the 4000 Series are offered in either a slim line uniform package of 22.5mm for use where space is at a premium or 45mm wide.

 

Emergency Stops

Designed for use in most machines, SNH Series Emergency Stop Pushbuttons give a safe signal to the machine control to stop any dangerous action. Ideal for use with Series 4000, samos or samosPRO, the SNH series provides a modular system which can be adapted perfectly to the users requirements.

A range of 8 operator elements can be combined with 12 different contact blocks which are built with one or more normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contacts. All contact blocks are equipped with screw terminals. Wieland offer a number of completely assembled emergency stop pushbuttons for the most common applications. For mounting the emergency pushbutton direct on the machine, a suitable housing is available.
